The YWCA has been empowering individuals, families, and children in Northern Illinois since 1891.

Our mission-driven services continue to evolve to meet the needs of individuals and families in Rockford, and the counties of  Boone, Jo Daviess, McHenry, Ogle, Stephenson and Winnebago.

Join YWCA Northwestern Illinois at One Table: An Open Air Dining Experience for an unforgettable evening as we bid farewell to summer in  style. On August 23, 2025, we’re transforming a city street into an elegant open-air dining experience along the river.

In collaboration with renowned Chef Paul Sletten and the exceptional culinary team at Abreo, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated menu perfectly paired with fine wines all under the summer sky, surrounded by community, conversation, and connection.
